Tick tock, overclocked, my inner thoughts have moved, Just as all we see, our mind’s a cloud that’s bruised, And whoever believes in our thieves, For what they take will not be recieved, Yeahhhhh! Waiting for no one, Containing the feeling’s numb, Showing no weakness while I Break apart the heart of emptiness Your love’s a holy ghost, in this eternal spring, Fighting a war that’s won, my soul begins to sing. And whoever believes in our thieves, For what they take will not be recieved, Yeahhhhh! Waiting for no one, Containing the feeling’s numb, Showing no weakness while I Break apart the heart of emptiness Waiting for no one, Containing the feeling’s numb, Showing no weakness while I Break apart the heart of emptiness Waiting for no one, Containing the feeling’s numb, Showing no weakness while I Break apart the heart of emptiness Waiting for no one, Containing the feeling’s numb, Showing no weakness while I Break apart the heart of emptiness

Going, flowing The days draw into me Holding, loathing My leaves shed from your tree Inciting, the words you’re hiding, Pages torn from me, The wind is blowing, where I’m going, Just don’t follow me We’re hurtling down… and down and down and down, Into the dark we run. I close my eyes, and remember why, (And you’re lying next to me), Over time I sometimes cry, (Thinking of what was meant to be), But here is where I like to stay (As our memories will decay…) Thoughts haunt, they fade away… Reviving what I confide in, Your shadows touching me, Waiting, and fading, Time waves its own marquee Love’s warning, is haunting, Heed it before me, Take flight, tonight, Cross the deep blue sea We’re hurtling down… and down and down and down, Into the dark we run. The conjuring is a romance, The way that we observe, It hits you hard without a chance, You get what you deserve The conjuring is a romance, The way that we observe, It hits you hard without a chance, You get what you deserve The conjuring is a romance, The way that we observe, It hits you hard without a chance, You get what you deserve

Too high strung, Well I don’t even know where we’re going, We lie in toungs, It is where my love is slowing And I become, Nothing seems right but I am holding, Onto you Nearby me The time has come for my so-ul to flee Quietly, I find a way to treat my piety, Now I see I’m wounded but able to walk free Away from you Into you, and onto me, Caught in between, In this made-up dream, And I don’t know what we ought to be, But I’m right here waiting, for you right now. [Verse] I see. The haze has lifted ever so gently So heavy, hearted I leave this town weary, But me, The wind beneath my sails I’m free, Breathing now. Was I wrong? or was I right to deter from your hurt? I cried from The bottom of my seething self worth You belong, Forever yours and safely secure Away from me Into you, and onto me, Caught in between, This made-up dream, And I don’t know what we ought to be, But I’m right here waiting for you, right now. As time comes home, The hours march on by a thread,. As we reside under the sky I'm forever yours… I'm falling, yeah yeah I'm falling, yeah yeah

Turn away from each other, Don't want to get closer, Does your heart still remember? Memories blown by a zephyr. Sail away into me, while I colour you the sea, Beautiful yet wasted What else is there left to be? Turn away from each other, Don't want to get closer, Does your heart still remember? Memories blown by a zephyr. Sail away into me, while I colour you the sea, Beautiful yet wasted What else is there left to be? Waiting undercover between lovers who understand That there’s nowhere to run, there’s nowhere to hide, Inside the soul, darkness resides. Slowly to fade, what’s left up inside. Yeah yeah yeah Turn away from each other, Don't want to get closer, Does your heart still remember? Memories blown by a zephyr.

Hold my hand Step inside The wind is blowing and And there’s nowhere to hide I close my eyes As time passes by I hear your voice I see your smile From teardrops to morning dew I’m cascading into-ooh you The love that I yield Is hardly concealed Yet takes form in ways we once knew Your gentle eyes And your soothing voice Calms the storm enough to Brighten the skies I close my eyes As time passes by I hear your voice I see your smile From teardrops to morning dew I’m cascading into-ooh you The love that I yield Is hardly concealed Yet takes form in ways we once knew Here I stand I was waiting for you To cross my path, my eternal love And into the next life We’ll find each other again Whispy cheeks Deep brown eyes I’m forever yours Always be mine

If you see me by the hillside sitting all alone, Remember to turn off the lights, All of what’s left is the figure in my mind, And who I’ll be before I forget. We’re a shadow of our past, a ghost trapped in time, Liberated by the ones who love first, But a love that is lost, is a love that is won, Until we realise the damage its done, So if you see me on the hillside yearning for you Remember to turn off the lights Gently plucking the chords to a song, A song for nobody.

about

Alexander Laurence's 2nd EP is a darker and dirtier departure from his debut EP Currently Offline. Drawing inspiration from John Frusciante and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Existential Crisis In Stereo tells a sombre tale of a love that is doomed to fail.
